Klever hardware wallet and mobile app compatibility
KleverSafe is Klever's hardware wallet for use with the Klever Wallet (K5) mobile app. The app's terms restrict use to people over 18; some countries may also be excluded because of local legal restrictions. It keeps private keys inside the device while the app provides the management interface. Klever currently lists units as sold out.
Updated onConnections and key storage
| Parameter | KleverSafe specification |
|---|---|
| Wireless pairing | Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.2 with the Klever Wallet (K5) app. |
| USB connection | USB Type-C supplies power; communication with the K5 app through the same connector is documented for Android. |
| Private-key storage | A dedicated secure element Klever specifies as CC EAL5+ certified. |
App management and device confirmation
Klever Wallet provides the interface for managing assets with KleverSafe. Cryptographic operations take place inside the hardware wallet, and its physical button confirms cryptographic transactions. Bluetooth pairing connects the app to the hardware while the private keys stay in the secure element.
Digital assets remain recorded on their respective blockchains. Signing authorizes a transaction; confirmation depends on the relevant network. Klever Wallet cannot modify or cancel a transfer once it has been submitted.
Blockchain and token compatibility
Klever describes KleverSafe as supporting the blockchains available in the K5 app. Its listed networks include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, TRON, and KleverChain.
Transfer compatibility depends on the asset and its blockchain together. Match the asset's network designation in the K5 app to the receiving wallet's supported network before sending. A shared token name does not make its versions on different blockchains interchangeable.
